Judy Cullins

What I want for you who seek assistance in writing, publishing and selling your books is to:

  • Get useful, professional feedback along the way of what’s good and what’s not.

  • Know the value of your book before you spend a lot of money and time on it.

  • Discover the easy, fast ways you can write your book to brand your business (no, you don’t need traditional publishing or marketing)

  • Know the short cuts to finishing fast so you can make money the second your book is finished.

Know tried and true ways to get your book to your audience directly-without spending a lot of time and money on expensive and often useless venues.

  • Meet Judy Cullins

Humble beginnings. Twenty years ago. My life coaching business had no focus. Yes, health. Yes, personal growth. But with an evolving interest in helping businesses be more successful. I was led to my real calling. The change to bookcoaching and internet marketing reflected my writing talents and past 20 short books.

By 2000, my new focus was on writing and marketing because that is the only way a business can succeed. From these I wrote 11 new books on book writing, book self-publishing and promotion. Expanding these I wrote four more books on interent marketing because I myself found it so easy--once I opened up to growing from a newbie and non techie to a trusted guru on article marketing--the natural kind of marketing that shows you to your audience as the savvy expert in your field.

Do What You Love and Make a Great Income Too

My audience changed too. You who visit my site and want to brand your service business with a book, or you who want to and are willing to learn some easy, inexpensive ways to promote, publicize and market yourself and your work are my preferred audiences. Yes, authors are my audience, but the ones who treat their book as a business. Know that your biggest numbers of clients and book customers are on the web--looking for information in your field. These cost-effective techniques and tools I learned work so well, I want to share them with you so you too can have the sweet success of doing what you love and making great income from it.

How I Work as a Coach

Let me Help You Manifest your Book Dream

  • I work with small business clients, authors, and professionals who want ongoing coaching to get their book in saleable form, to get it finished and published so they can make the world a better place, become known as the readers' savvy friend, and make enough money to live their life fully so they can take a yearly vacation or have enough for their children's college education.

  • Depending on the number of sessions, I work with busy people who can only schedule two meetings a month for three or more months or professionals and corporate people who want unlimited assistance either by phone, email or mail for a longer period such as four to ten months.

  • My fees range from $260-$550 monthly. I also provide open-ended coaching for a six months to a year retainer fee. We coach to fit your busy schedule. Group rates are also available.

  • What I want for you is to manifest your book dream-whether it be getting your chapters motivational to compel your reader to finish them and the book or guiding you to make more pre sales with “The Essential Nine Hot Selling Points.”

  • If you are willing to put some time into your success, I will go the extra mile for you--to send a special report to help you with a particular skill, or a phone call that will answer your questions immediately. My brainstorming ability helps you choose what's brilliant and what's not. If you need other help, I will refer you to other reliable professionals. I give full devotion to each client.

  • You will be working with a person who lives a balanced life. I love my work, enjoy friends and family and relax enough to feel energetic each day to enjoy it all--with a sense of humor.

  • Most clients work with me on the telephone - from next door, across the country, and around the world.

  • On a path of mastery, I keep myself abreast of what's important and new in publishing, self-publishing, or promotion and marketing. An expert with Internet marketing, I share this avenue with my clients freely. You learn what I learned and what I am learning. Always growing I attend San Diego Writers and Publishers, San Diego Writers and Editors Guild, and give in house as well as teleclass presentations regularly-80 a year.

  • What I can help you with: Give you feedback on what your topic or words do to make sure you write a saleable book after you send your chapter or other files. I give you 20 minutes before each call to look at your files and write feedback on them to email you after the call. On the 40 minute call, I help you to open up to pin down your best preferred audience-their needs and wants, so the book is compelling, organized, and written with few edits.

  • As a coach who has authored 15 personal growth books and 11 business books I know how to help you save time and money on the whole process. I ask questions to make sure you are following the path you intend to. I share wisdom, steps, solutions and advice as needed to keep the momentum going.

  • In each session, we each pose questions so that you can get your biggest challenge answered--clarity on what you will say, who you say it to, and how to get it into your target market's hands. It's an easy-going process that is how-to oriented.

  • I want you to stretch. My job is to ask for more than my clients can reasonably do. I may ask for the moon and know we will reach the stars. My clients can always decline or negotiate.

  • I am your success partner. I choose not to be your cattle prod or accountability service. I want to support you to take actions, so I pull you to finish. My best coaching occurs when my client is self-generative vs being pushed. And you will realize that any journey is easier and faster with a partner.

  • I work with you as a person. I need to help my clients reach their goals and solve problems, but I also want to know who my client is, where he/she comes from, where he/she is now, how he/she thinks, assumptions he/she has made, what motivates him/her. As we coach your “inner self” shows me the tone and style you will write your book in.

  • I want you to share your "Ah-Hahs.” The value of coaching isn't based on how much time is spent coaching. Great coaching can occur in 60 seconds - when the right thing is said in the right way, my client leaps forward.

  • I give field work. The coaching session isn't the key aspect of the coach process. Having great sessions with my clients is important, and your book will not grow to be a great seller unless you focus on the marketing parts of it as well as the story. It’s how well you integrate the feedback that makes your writing professional and your book saleable.
